Arsenal are in advanced talks to sign Sheffield United goalkeeper Aaron Ramsdale.

Football.London says Arsenal are now close to sealing a deal to sign Ramsdale.

The club are in advanced talks to complete a £24m deal after negotiations were revisited in the past few days.

Mikel Arteta wants to bring in Ramsdale to provide further competition for Bernd Leno, who has struggled to maintain consistency ever since he arrived from Bayer Leverkusen in 2018.

Leno also has just two years remaining on his current deal and has made no secret of the fact he would like to explore a new challenge should an opportunity present itself.
