Arsenal have identified their top summer transfer target.

The Gunners are looking to sign young players who have potential to grow into top-class performers.

Goal reports Saint-Etienne centre-back William Saliba has impressed the north London club enough to become their number one target.

The 18-year-old made 17 appearances for the Ligue 1 side and was watched on numerous occasions by Arsenal.

Saliba, who stands at 6'4, signed a new four-year contract last April.

However, Arsenal would be able to prize the teenager to England with a bid of £25m.
