Former Arsenal and Inter Milan striker Lukas Podolski is keen to play on.
Currently with Vissel Kobe, Podoloski's deal expires at the end of the month.
And it's emerged he's offered his services to Malaysia's Johor Darul Ta'zim FC.
The club's owner Tunku Ismail told Fox Sports Asia: "He contacted me and expressed his interest in switching to us.
"He will come to negotiate. At the moment, however, we cannot make a decision because we have already reached the foreigners limit. It is possible that we can work together in other ways."
