Arsenal hero Robert Pires says the support must get behind manager Unai Emery next season.

Pires believes the fans should unite behind Emery because he's a proven winner.

He said, “To replace Arsene Wenger is not so easy. He was the manager of Arsenal for a long, long time – 22 years.

“For Unai Emery, at the beginning it was very difficult because there was always the comparison.

“But I think he's doing well. He tried to play good football and put his philosophy and rules in the dressing room.

“He is crazy about football. He loves to manage the team. He's a winner, because he won titles with Sevilla and with Paris Saint-Germain.

“The most important thing is for the fans to believe in Unai because he is a great manager."
