Arsenal hero Freddie Ljungberg has revealed plans to enter management.
The Swede revealed Arsene Wenger told him to avoid becoming an assistant first.
"In the future I hope to be a manager but I have to earn my stripes," the 39-year-old told the Daily Mail. "Arsene advised me to do that – be a head coach and not an assistant anywhere.
"By being a head coach you then have your own staff and you have to manage your staff and it's not so simple. There are training sessions and all that other stuff.
"So I'm trying to learn on all levels and earn my stripes."
