Off contract in June, the Egypt midfielder has been in talks with Galatasaray.

Vatan says Arsenal have informed Elneny's minders he can leave when the market reopens over the New Year.

The midfielder would sign for Gala in a permanent transfer.

Elneny has spent a previous loan spell with Besiktas in Turkey.
