Arsenal fullback Tierney: Belief counteracts our lack of experience

Arsenal left-back Kieran Tierney insists the belief they have in themselves outweighs any lack of experience.

The Gunners are battling to finish in the top four of the Premier League with one of the youngest squads in the league.

Manager Mikel Arteta, who is also at the start of his managerial career, has created a young team with incredible togetherness and self-belief, as evidenced by Tierney's comments.

Arsenal are currently sixth in the league, two points behind Manchester United in fourth, with three games in hand on the Red Devils.

Tierney told The Face: "Very positive. We know what we're doing, we know where we want to be and we know it's going to be hard. But we're positive and we believe.

"We know we've got a young squad, but what we do have is that belief and that's the main thing."
