Cagliari goalkeeper Federico Marchetti is willing to stay with the Serie A club.
Although the goalkeeper has been linked with Arsenal, Fulham and West Ham United, he could well remain in Serie A.
"I am in daily contact with the Cagliari directors," said agent Beppe Bozzo on Sky Sport Italia.
"Federico is proud to wear the Rossoblu jersey. There was a slight bump in the road, but he knows how important Cagliari has been for his career."
The agent even opens the door to a more extended stay at the Stadio Sant'Elia.
"If Cagliari want to continue this rapport, then he would be happy and proud to stay.
"If before the end of August an offer arrives that would satisfy both Federico and Cagliari, then we could talk about it, but if that doesn't happen then Federico would gladly stay in Sardinia."
