Arsenal flop Nicklas Bendtner is being linked with a return to Denmark.

The former Gooner is currently playing in Germany with VfL Wolfsburg, but has struggled to make an impression since his summer arrival from Arsenal.

Kicker says Wolfsburg are willing to cut their losses and offload Bendtner at season's end.

FC Copenhagen have already made contact and hope to convince Bendtner about a return home.

However, the striker is reluctant to return to Denmark at this stage of his career.
