Arsenal will not approach Atletico Madrid manager Diego Simeone to succeed Arsene Wenger next season because they feel that it will make their fans unhappy.
Wenger recently announced that he will be stepping down as manager at the end of the season and Simeone has been touted as a possible candidate to replace the Frenchman.
During his time in charge of Atletico, Simeone has exceeded expectations and managed to lead the club to the La Liga title during the 2013/14 season.
The Sun have reported that Simeone will not be approached for the Gunners managerial position because the board are concerned that his style of play will annoy the fanbase. They instead want to hire someone who infuses a more sparkling style of play.
