Competition is intensifying for Reims defender Axel Disasi.

The Daily Express says Arsenal have unwanted company in their pursuit of Disasi.

Mikel Arteta is looking to bolster his defensive ranks and find a long-term partner for incoming recruit William Saliba.

Reims value their 22-year-old, who has made 52 appearances for the club, at £13million excluding bonuses.

But the Gunners face competition from north London rivals Tottenham and Southampton for Disasi, whose contract expires in June 2021.

GFFN reports Reims will get their asking-price for Disasi 'in the coming weeks.'
