Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger had scouts posted to see Holland U21's thumping win over Russia.
The Dutch thrashed Russia 5-1 in their U21 Euros group contest.
The subject of Wenger's interest was Feyenoord defender Stefan de Vrij, PSV Eindhoven midfielder Kevin Strootman and AZ attacker Adam Maher.
