Arsenal are eyeing released Chelsea captain Gary Cahill.

The Mirror says Arsenal are among Premier League clubs who are considering a summer swoop for former Cahill.

The 33-year-old defender is due to be a free agent when his Blues contract expires at the end of this month, and he is keen to remain in the English top-flight.

Gunners manager Unai Emery is keen to bolster his defence this summer and there are reports that the former England centre back is among his targets.
