Arsenal have expressed interest in Sampdoria midfielder Dennis Praet.

Arsenal are in the midst of a summer overhaul which has seen Bernd Leno, Stephan Lichtsteiner and Sokratis Papastathopoulos join Unai Emery's squad.

Those new boys were joined at the Emirates this week by Matteo Guendouzi and Lucas Torreira, with the Uruguay international joining the Gunners from Sampdoria.

TMW says Arsenal requested information about Praet at the end of May.

Praet is available for a fixed £23m (€26m) fee due to a release clause written into his contract.

And that would allow Sampdoria to double their money on the 24-year-old, who they bought from Anderlecht in 2016.
