The Daily Mail says Arsenal have joined the race for Tavernier.

The Teeside outfit are fighting to keep hold of their 18-year-old starlet.

Arsenal, Everton, Bournemouth and Aston Villa are all interested in acquiring his services.

Tavernier scored for Boro in the derby win over Sunderland last week.
