Arsenal are in advanced discussions to sign centre-back William Saliba, according to reports.

The Gunners are locked in talks with Saint-Etienne over a potential deal and Le 10 Sport says talks are progressing well.

An agreement is expected to be reached within the 'coming weeks', the report has claimed.

Saliba's agent was pictured in Manchester at the weekend, with reports suggesting he was meeting with Manchester United.

However, Arsenal now look like firm favourites to sign the 18-year-old Frenchman.
