Arsenal are interested in Barcelona goalkeeper Neto.

Sport says the Brazilian is drawing interest and Barça expect him to leave. He has a big salary and teams like Valencia and Villarreal, who would like to sign him, can probably not afford to pay it.

Arsenal are also keen on him, though, and with Bernd Leno set to move to Fulham, they will be looking for a new stopper, although the salary is still a hurdle.

If he wants to play regularly, though, Neto and other players will have to lower their wages.

Barcelona are working hard on Operation Exit. Sporting director Mateui Alemany has intensified contact with half of Europe amid the immense challenge of placing as many as 10 players in new teams this summer, many with salaries impossible to pay except in the Premier League.
