Arsenal director Edu has insisted the club will be serious title contenders again next season.
The Gunners failed to hold onto their Premier League lead as the title race reached its conclusion.
Manchester City ran away with the title, despite Arsenal having led for more than 200 days.
Speaking about the season, Edu said: “We have to start the season believing that we can be title contenders.
“We can't start the season thinking: 'What can we do?' We have to start on the right foot, just like we did this season, and finish it in the best way possible.
“If we can, with a title. With all due respect to all the processes we have to carry out throughout the season. But that's how we have to approach this. We are very excited about that."
