Arsenal defender Sokratis admits he can't explain their poor away form.

Arsenal have won 10 consecutive League games at Emirates Stadium but their form on the road continues to be patchy, having won just five matches all season and amassing fewer points on their travels than Crystal Palace, Leicester City and Wolves among others.

Asked to explain the reasons behind such a disparity, Sokratis said: “I don't have any idea why. I don't know. But I saw also other teams play good at home and away some days they are good, some days bad. We have to improve and look forward to the next game.

“I don't think that [it is a mental issue] because the other big teams like United, Chelsea – they also lost a lot of points away. It is very difficult. We are in England, we are in the Premier League, and the other teams are also good at home."
