Arsenal defender Sokratis is being linked with a move to Liverpool in January.
With the Reds losing Virgil van Dijk and Joe Gomez to knee injuries - and potentially for the remainder of the season - Liverpool are expected be shopping for a new centre-half in the winter market.
The Daily Express says Sokratis is a candidate for Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp.
The pair worked together at Borussia Dortmund and the veteran Greece international would represent a cheap stop-gap for the second-half of the season.
For his part, Sokratis would be open to the move as he's struggled for minutes so far this season at Arsenal.
