Arsenal defender William Saliba is delighted with his move to Olympique Marseille.
The former Saint Etienne defender has joined OM on a season-long loan.
Saliba said, “I am very proud to join one of the best French clubs. I can't wait to hit the pitch at the Orange Vélodrome.
"Where I come from, even in Paris, in the Paris region, many of my relatives are for Marseille, so it's a source of pride to wear this jersey. OM represents a lot because it is a very big club.
"If I spoke to Jorge Sampaoli? Yes of course, we talked. He wanted me in his team and he told me that, even though I am a good player for the moment, I have a lot of things to improve and that with him, I am going to improve."
