Arsenal defender Shkrodan Mustafi admits he'd be open to moving to the Bundesliga.

Mustafi planned to leave Arsenal in the summer, partly because of massive criticism from supporters.

"I can deal with tough criticism as well. But the criticism has become escalated and irrational. I've become a target," he told Der Spiegel. "At some point people blamed me for a defeat I did not even play."

The centre-back was therefore thinking about leaving the Gunners this summer.

"But there was no option that would have satisfied all sides. If I change somewhere where it does not really fit, the situation could not improve much. So I stayed.

"For the future, I'm open - even for the Bundesliga."
