Arsenal defender Laurent Koscielny is struggling with a jaw injury.

The Gunners centre-back was slammed by Romelu Lukaku's boot during the FA Cup clash against Manchester United.

And it is revealed that the Frenchman is struggling to eat or chew, given the injuries to his jaw.

Koscielny told The Sun: "Personally, Friday was tough. When the incident with Lukaku happened, I really thought my jaw was broken.

"It was so painful. I went to hospital and after some tests and X-rays, it showed that, thankfully, it was not broken.

"I was so relieved, but I still needed some surgery on Saturday to take out all the blood clots created by the impact.

"I still need time to recover because at the moment, I cannot eat or chew. Hopefully I will be back soon."
