Arsenal left-back Kieran Tierney is finally starting to get to grips with the role that manager Mikel Arteta wants him to employ.

The Scotland star, who previously played for Celtic, is used as an inverted full-back by Arteta.

While Tierney is an incredibly skilled defender, it is a role he had little experience of playing in the past.

A highlights compilation from YouTube, posted onto Reddit by an Arsenal supporter, shows Tierney improving in the inverted role.

He occupies more spaces in central areas, tucking in when necessary and ensuring his team cannot be counter-attacked through the middle.
