Arsenal defender Rob Holding is expected to feature in the EFL Trophy clash against Northampton Town on Tuesday.
Holding, 23, has not featured for the first-team in nine months after injuring his knee against Manchester United in December.
He played a full 90 minutes for the U23s in their 2-2 draw with Everton last Friday.
The Mirror says Holding will continue his comeback against Northampton.
If everything goes well, Unai Emery could have the centre-back available for selection after the international break.
