Real Madrid boss Zinedine Zidane believes he already has a Luka Modric replacement at the club in Martin Odegaard.
The Norway midfielder is on loan with Arsenal for the second half of this season, after struggling for game time at the Santiago Bernabeu club.
Odegaard has excelled at the Emirates, which has led to the club discussing the possibility of a permanent deal.
But according to Spanish outlet AS, Arsenal are likely to miss out on Odegaard this summer.
Manager Zinedine Zidane has decided he will take the 22-year-old back in the summer and blood him in as Modric's long term replacement.
Odegaard will get a proper chance to stake a claim for a starting spot with Real next term.
