Arsene Wenger says attempting to win a new deal with Arsenal is not his motivation ahead of another Champions League campaign.
The Gunners kick off the 2016/17 European season against French giants PSG on Tuesday night but Wenger insists his future in North London does not come into calculations when assessing his side's chances in Paris.
"I just focus on the next game. I don't think like that," said Wenger when asked if there is motivation to do well in the final year of his contract.
"I think I played over 170 games in the Champions League and it's every time the same: you want to do well in the next one.
"My personal case is not at stake in that at all."
