Arsenal remain in talks with Lorient for defender Laurent Koscielny.
The Times says Arsenal have raised their offer for Koscielny, the Lorient centre back, to about £8 million.
The French side have asked for Francis Coquelin, the midfield player, or Armand Traoré, the defender, as part of the deal.
"There have been discussions between the clubs, but for now, nothing is done," Coquelin said. "I will not be against a return to France, but what I want most is a club where I will get game time."
