Arsenal are set to face Hibernian in a pre-season friendly ahead of the 2021/2022 season.
The London club were already scheduled to take on Rangers on July 17th to commemorate the Scottish club's 150th anniversary.
Now they will face Hibs on July 13th, while they have also set up a week-long training camp in Edinburgh.
"The matches against Hibs and Rangers will be good tests for us and we're looking forward to playing against two strong opponents," Arteta said.
"Pre-season is an important time for the squad and we're delighted to have this organised early so we can get the most out of the two matches and the training camp."
