There's confidence at Arsenal that Petr Cech will be fit for the North London derby against Tottenham.

Cech was forced off in the 70th minute of Arsenal's 5-1 win against Everton with a calf problem.

He was replaced by David Ospina who was in line to stand in against Spurs at Wembley.

But Cech's injury is not as serious as first thought and he believes he will recover in time to face Spurs, reports the Mirror.

Defender Nacho Monreal is also due to make a return training and declare himself ready to face Spurs on Saturday lunchtime.
