Arsenal are edging closer to landing Wolfsburg goalkeeper Diego Benaglio.
Gunners boss Arsene Wenger has had the 27 year-old monitored closely for the last six months.
Arsenal are now in contact with Wolfsburg about Benaglio's availability ahead of the summer market opening.
Indeed, some German media sources say Arsenal have already made an offer for Benaglio, who is a Switzerland teammate of Johan Djourou.
