Arsenal chiefs willing to commit to £180M mega spend on three summer additions

Arsenal chiefs are budgeting for a summer mega spend of £180 MILLION in plans to back manager Mikel Arteta to the hilt.

The Sun says strikers Alexander Isak, Dominic Calvert-Lewin and midfielder Ruben Neves have all been lined up as potential future targets.

Real Sociedad frontman Isak has a release clause worth £75m in his contract, while Everton ace Calvert-Lewin is valued at a hefty £60million.

To tempt Neves away from Wolves, Arsenal would also have to stump up another £45m - a sum which would take their overall spending to the limits of their war chest.

The same report goes on to add that the north London outfit view their targets as young, driven players with another quality to take them 'to the next level'.

Last summer, Arteta was able to splurge £150m on Ben White, Martin Odegaard, Aaron Ramsdale, Takehiro Tomiyasu, Albert Sambi Lokonga and Nuno Tavares.

The new recruits have largely hit the ground running this campaign, to the extent that billionaire club chief Stan Kroenke is willing to open his chequebook once again.
