Arsenal chief Sanllehi speaking to peers about market expectations

Arsenal chief Raul Sanllehi has been speaking with his peers across the Premier League and Europe to get an idea of how the summer market will play out.

Football.London reports Sanllehi has been in talks with fellow heads of football and sporting directors from major clubs in England and the rest of Europe to get an understanding of the upcoming transfer window amid the coronavirus suspension.

As they seek in the short term to ensure that jobs of non-playing staff are protected and that they can remain in the black, clubs are likely to be more cautious with their money this summer.

It is expected the bulk of clubs will resort to swap deals, loans and free transfers, with the Gunners very much included in that after a lack of Champions League football in recent seasons.
