Arsenal chief Edu is eyeing Lazio star Joaquin Correa.
In the market for a free-scoring midfielder, Edu is turning to Correa after being trumped by Aston Villa for Norwich City attacker Emi Buendia.
La Repubblica says the Arsenal football director is now making a move for Correa.
Indeed, a first offer of €20m has already been tabled for the Argentina international, who has scored 11 goals in 38 games from Lazio's midfield last season.
Complicating the situation for Edu is Lazio's appointment of new coach Maurizio Sarri, who is eager not to lose the midfielder.
