Arsenal chief Edu eyeing cut-price deal for Gent striker Roman Yaremchuk

Arsenal chief Edu is spying a cut-price deal for KAA Gent striker Roman Yaremchuk.

He could be available for as little as £20million, says HLN.

The 25-year-old was angling for a move away from Gent last summer, but eventually decided to stay after coming to an agreement with his current employers.

It is said that he was given assurance that suitable offers from clubs 'willing to pay what Gent are aiming for' would be considered.

The Belgian club, who currently sit ninth in the Belgian First Division A, are believed to be reluctant to accept any bid that falls below the £20m mark.

Gent are understood to be in a 'strong position' ahead of the summer window after tying Yaremchuk down until the summer of 2025.
