Arsenal challenge Bundesliga trio for Pavard

Arsenal are pushing VfB Stuttgart to open talks about the sale of Benjamin Pavard.

L'Equipe says despite Stuttgart chief Michael Reschke insisting he won't be sold this summer, bigger clubs from across Europe are making contact.

Arsenal, Bayern Munich, Borussia Dortmund and RB Leipzig have all made an approach to Stuttgart about a price for Pavard.

Pavard, 22, is primarily a right-back but impressed at centre-half throughout the Bundesliga season.

The Frenchman, who is valued at £44m, has informed Stuttgart of his desire to switch Germany for England amid Arsenal's interest.
