Arsenal captain Martin Odegaard admits some regret leaving Real Madrid.
Odegaard left Real almost two years ago and is now playing the best football of his career.
The midfielder said: "There were hard moments, but the experience was good. It was a dream for me.
"Leaving was the right decision for me, I needed to play regularly."
Ødegaard joined Real Madrid in 2015 and that same season he made his debut with the first team, becoming the youngest in the club's history to appear in the LaLiga.
He added, "I am grateful for everything I experienced, but now I am very happy."
