Arsenal captain Koscielny: Clean sheets now racking up

Arsenal captain Laurent Koscielny says the players were bouncing after their 1-0 win at Europa League opponents Napoli.

Alexandre Lacazette struck a superb free-kick to send the Gunners into the semifinals 3-0 on aggregate.

Koscielny said: "We came here with ambition, we wanted to win here, to score goals. We did it with Laca. We kept the clean sheet as well, so that's important for our confidence.

"We also had a clean sheet as well on Monday, so it's good for the confidence and for the rest of the season. Each game now we have in front of us, it's a final. We are here tonight with qualification for the semi-final and tomorrow we will switch for the Premier League.

"I think we did the job at home to keep the clean sheet and to score some goals. Today we knew if we scored one goal, they needed to score four so we respect them and we tried to play. After the 1-0 we were more sitting down in front of our goal, but we fought as well to defend and suffer together and it's good for the spirit of the team."
