Arsenal captain Aubameyang: Arteta makes us all feel at home

Arsenal captain Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang has hailed the attention to detail of manager Mikel Arteta.

The Gunners look like a team reborn under the Spaniard, who has lifted the club since taking over from Unai Emery last December, helping them win the FA Cup and Community Shield and overseeing two wins at the start of this season.

"He brings that atmosphere that everyone feels like being at home," Aubameyang told BBC Sport. "We have to do homework as well!

"I think the mentality around the club is going very, very well and everyone is going on the same way. That's really important. The goal is to bring the club back to where it belongs."

Aubameyang also revisited dropping the FA Cup in their celebration at Wembley.

He said: "I don't know! I remember one guy was at my back, a guy from the FA, and he was wearing a mask so I asked him: 'Should I take everything?'

"He said 'No, just leave the base' and I understood 'take the base'. I took everything and was like, 'it's heavy, so heavy!'"
