Arsenal are still in with a chance of landing Velez Sarsfield midfielder Ricky Alvarez.
Agents working on the deal insist Inter Milan are on the brink of signing the 23 year-old Argentine.
However, Sky Italia says while Inter have had their offer accepted by Velez, they're yet to agree terms with Alvarez's agent, Marcelo Simonian.
Arsenal are still in the running to land the midfielder, but Inter are now putting the finishing touches on the agreement.
