Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger is delighted with what he's seen from summer signing Rob Holding.

The English defender joined the club from Bolton last month.

"Rob has done extremely well," the Arsenal boss said.

"You want spectacular players to come into the League without losing that opportunity for young players to develop and to get a chance.

“Arsenal are one of the club's who still have the guts to do it.

"I know it's more glamorous to buy a £50-60m player than to give a chance to a young player.

"But in my job you have to just look at the quality and not so much the numbers surrounding a transfer."
