Arsenal boss Wenger turns to Schalke striker Huntelaar

Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger is eyeing Schalke striker Klaas-Jan Huntelaar.

Wenger has confirmed he's in the market for a new centre-forward who can play with Olivier Giroud and also step in as cover for the Frenchman.

German sources say Huntelaar is on Wenger's radar, as is his Schalke teammate Julian Draxler.

Huntelaar has scored seven goals in the last nine games for Schalke and is now inside the final 15 months of his current deal.
