Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger is surprised by Jack Wilshere's omission from the England squad.
Fabio Capello stunned Wenger by naming Wilshere, 18, in the Under-21s squad - despite his encouraging display as a sub against Hungary at Wembley.
Wenger admitted: "I am surprised Jack is not in the full England squad.
"For me, Jack has done well. He is the only player to have been selected in England from his generation at the age of 18."
