Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger was pleased with Rob Holding's performance in their win over the MLS All-Stars.

Holding played all of Arsenal's pre-season friendly against the MLS All-Stars after completing a £2m move from Sky Bet League One club Bolton Wanderers earlier this month.

Wenger was encouraged with the performance of Holding, and said: "He's adapted surprisingly well - he reads the game well and understands what's going on.

"He anticipates well and that's a quality you don't see very often at such a young age."
