Arsenal boss Wenger pleased with Bendtner progress

Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger is delighted with the progress Nicklas Bendtner has made this season.

The Dane is back in the squad this weekend after surviving a horrific car accident.

"Since the beginning of the season I'm very happy with him," Wenger told the club's official website.

"So far he has played in many games, performed and improved.

"He is a player who will improve every year. Nicklas is a good size and is a very pacey player considering his size. He has an intelligent game with good vision."
