Arsenal boss Wenger not worried about outside opinion

Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger says he is not bothered by criticism from the club's supporters, instead preferring to focus his energy on the Gunners' fading Premier League title hopes.

The Frenchman has been the subject of abuse from Arsenal fans in recent weeks as the Gunners have fallen 11 points behind league leaders Leicester City.

However, Wenger is adamant he is not concerned with anything other than his team's on-field performance.

"I don't worry too much about all the rest, what people say," Wenger told beIN Sport.

"All the rest is judgments, opinions and that is linked with the beliefs from the last result or the last disappointment or the last happiness.

"In my job you focus on what is important and that's to perform.

"I believe in life you should focus on what you're appointed for and I'm appointed to perform and do the best for my club.

"That's all I focus on. My future is my future, I don't master that more than you."
