Arsenal boss Wenger: Man Utd will survive Rooney absence

Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger doesn't expect Manchester United's title push to collapse following Wayne Rooney's injury.

Speaking at his pre-Wolves press conference on Friday afternoon, the manager was asked how much Manchester United will miss Rooney.

"It is difficult to say how much and to give a percentage," he replied.

"But if you are to ask Man United if ideally they want him, they will say yes. If you ask if they can still fight for the title without him, they say yes. But they lose a main goalscorer."
