Arsenal boss Wenger insists Alexis Sanchez and Mesut Ozil not for sale

Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger insists Alexis Sanchez and Mesut Ozil will not be sold in January.

Wenger has continued to insist that he has no intention of parting with either in January.

And asked on Tuesday whether they would still be at the club on February 1, Wenger responded: “Yes. Of course.

"I rule it out. I don't think every day about it. As long as they [Sanchez and Ozil] are here, they have to give their all for the club.

"In my head, they are here until the end of the season. That was the decision at the start of the season. Unless something incredible happens, I don't think that will change.

"For me, they stay until the end of the season. Will they stay longer? That is impossible to answer today. But they have a contract until the end of the season."

Quizzed on whether the pair would extend their deals and still be at the north London club next season, the Frenchman said: “I am not the only one who decides that."
