Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger is furious with Liverpool defender Dan Agger over the injury suffered by Jack Wilshere.
Wilshere suffered a hairline fracture to his left foot in the tackle by the Denmark defender at Wembley which is understood to have deeply upset Arsenal boss Wenger.
The Gunners midfielder, in a surgical boot last night, is out for at least six weeks and faces a desperate race against time to be fit for Brazil.
The Mirror says Wenger and Arsenal have absolved England of blame for allowing the player to continue for 50 minutes after sustaining the injury, because the midfielder claimed he was OK to carry on. It is not believed further damage was done.
