Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger will go into the summer market with the biggest transfer kitty of his career.

The Sunday Mirror says even if ­Arsenal fail to qualify for the Champions League for the first time in 16 years, Wenger will still get around £70million to spend.

Part of the money is ­already in the bank and Wenger's budget has been topped up by Arsenal's £150m Emirates deal.

The club are also set to confirm a new kit deal with Puma worth up to £170m.

Wenger will not be under pressure to sell any of his stars and will be boosted by finally getting high earners Andrey Arshavin and ­Sebastien Squillaci off the wage bill.
